NATIONAL HIGH ALTITUE BALLOON RECORD HOLDERS
Born in Auckland 1991, Zac and Josh lived on Waiheke Island until they were two, when the family moved to Australia. They did much of their growing up in rural Queensland, where their love for the outdoors developed.
They headed back across the Tasman to New Zealand at age 11 and eventually settled in Tauranga. The boys did their high schooling at Tauranga Boys' College, and in their final year decided to head to the University of Waikato.
Three years later, Josh graduated with a degree in Earth Science, while Zac opted to stay on for further Masters study.
The outdoors and adventure has always been a part of their life, Zac has gained a black belt in Wado Kai Karate, while Josh volunteers aboard the tall sailing ship STS Spirit of New Zealand.
Zac and Josh enjoy pushing their limits of physical and mental endurance. Keen trail runners, mountain climbers, mountain bikers and amateur cavers, the boys certainly get their fill of adrenaline.
