A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step
THE FOUR CAPS
The objectives of the expedition:
To ski the world's four largest ice caps; Greenland, South Pole, Patagonia, and the North Pole.
To inspire the youth of New Zealand, and around the world, to take action on their dreams and achieve at their highest potential.
To inspire the development of youth leadership through the medium of the outdoors, and facilitate a greater connection with youth to our natural world.
To test the limits of our physical and mental endurance.
To promote health and healthy lifestyle choices through participation in sport and outdoor pursuits.
Zac and Josh are lucky enough to be working with some extraordinary people and organisations on their epic adventure. Rob Hamill, a wealth of campaign experience has come aboard as the team director, and they have been honoured to accept Peter Hillary as patron.
For the South Pole leg, we are happy to be able to support the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand! We all know people who have been affected by mental illness and we look forward to spreading the message of support and acceptance. One of the easiest ways to support the Mental Health Foundation is to promote the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
